Yay! Two more days until our party!

Spent the night last night decorating Alisha's basement, as we unearthed the best party spot one could imagine. Originally, the party was to be held here, but interest was so high we were forced to find a larger venue to accomodate the guests. Now the plan is to begin here, and then march the confused party-goers down the street to Alisha's house.
The basement is beautiful. We covered the walls with scraps of colourful fabric, and there is plenty of comfy seating. We scattered candles EVERYWHERE, and hung a string of flowered lights from the ceiling for additional lighting. It turned into a fantastic party spot, and my excitement is almost unimaginable.
I decorated my mask, I found it too plain. I sewed a rose to the front of it and painted gold around the eyes. It is now stunning.

Mm, I should probably go shower. I'm meant to pick up the party invitations from Kevin's house and go hand them out at the store. (We put up signs everywhere, but I was leery of putting my address in plain view, so we created lovely invitations to hand out.)

OH! I can paint! I never thought I could, but it turns out I can, and quite well, too! I painted a lovely rose on a large canvas, which is hanging on the wall at Alisha's for the party. She painted a striking masque for the same purpose.

I love Phantom of the Opera. Mmkay, out of here now.
